Attorney Joshua Hecht, has prior experience working in both restaurants and hotels, which he combines with his legal experience, to provide our clients with legal and practical knowledge in the development and operation of restaurants throughout Connecticut. He is a Certified ServSafe Alcohol Instructor, a Practitioner in Residence at the University of New Haven where he teaches in the Hospitality and Tourism Department, and a member of the New England Culinary Group (NECG). He is also a regular speaker at seminars throughout Connecticut on the legal aspects of starting a food business.

Attorney Geoffrey Hecht was an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven and Gateway Community College where he taught business and hospitality law for over 30 years. He has presented numerous seminars on the legal aspects of starting a food business and also presented a seminar at the International Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Show at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
